A charity stall of Klub ptujskih študentov

was invited to spend the weekend in Ptuj for the big christmas event of Klub ptujskih študentov.

This year, as before, they decided to sell home made cookies, artcrafts and some kuhano vino at several places around town and all the money will be given to the victims of last flud in the region.
I arrived on friday 21st, the end of the world’s day (or not!), and spent the day helping with collages and baking! Fun, fun, fun!
On saturday, although a bit late, it took us more then expected to arrange all cookies in order to sell them, and with one less spot, the event went really well. The students devided themselves into 3 places around town – 2 shopings and city center – and sold almost every cookie, postcard, lanterns or wine that they had and got almost 1600 euros. It was nice to see how well people respond to the need of helping others.
On sunday went around town castle and later went back to Ljubljana.
In the meanwhile had the chance to meet extremly good and nice people – all the way from the ride to club members and their families – and would like to especially thank Kokol family that welcomed at their home and treated me as their own! Deeply grateful for all the small details at this special weekend!!
