The ŠKIS Association (the Association of Student Clubs of Slovenia) is an accredited organisation for the European Voluntary Service (EVS) programme until 2020.
As a part of the Erasmus+ programme, the European Commission also finances EVS. Young people can now become involved in voluntary work for our organisation. The financial allocation for the programme covers the cost of accommodation, food allowance, pocket money and up to 90% of travel expenses! A normal working week shall range from 30 to 35 hours and includes a wide-range of activities that are defined in the framework of the project, carried out by our organisation.
What does this accreditation mean for us?
An organisation that wants to be a hosting organisation for EVS needs to fulfil certain conditions – it must have a valid accreditation. During your EVS project, the ŠKIS Association will provide the following:
